At first glance — everything looks fine. The bituminous waterproofing is there, the roof is intact, no water is dripping. Not yet.
But bitumen is a living material. It moves, dries, contracts. Every winter, every summer, every freeze-and-thaw cycle leaves its mark. Micro-cracks appear where you can not see them. Bubbles swell under the sun. The seams between the sheets grow tired.
And one day — after years of slow ageing — water finds its way through. That is no longer a repair job. That is a full reconstruction.
Polyurethane coating stops this process before it becomes visible. It is applied seamlessly directly over the existing bituminous waterproofing — no demolition, no disruption, no interruption of work.
And on top of that — it reduces indoor temperatures by up to 8°C during summer. One solution with a double benefit: an extended roof life and a cooler building.
